Here i am sharing a wonderful example of staining over a painted stencil.

It gives a wonderful effect.

This one i find particularly good as it shows you TWO things.

1. You cannot cover paint with stain ! So many ask me can they stain over a painted stairs. NO!

2. Staining over the paint deepens the colour of the wood but also ages the paint giving a lovely effect.
